What should be the strategy for week students to improve...

Scoring 95% and above in the CBSE board exam is possible if the candidates study 365/366 days with consistency. And the same applies to weak students as well. So below are some of the following tips for improving scores of the weak students in their CBSE board exam. They are as follows:-
  • Identifying your weakest points- After appearing for several tests on different subjects, a candidate can identify his or her weak points. Talk to the teachers and improve.
  • Remove Distractions- Distractions can be in any form like facebook, what’s app, Instagram, televisions laptops or through any other electronic devices. Take a break from your social media accounts for the next six months. This is the most important phase of the candidate to emphasize career and success will flow then automatically.
  • Intend to submit a neat answer sheet-Teachers from CBSE and ICSE boards are appointed for checking the answer sheets of the students. So present answers with neat handwriting and write answers with clear thoughts and simple sentence structures that can be easily understood by the teachers.
  • Understand that you are only your competition-View your marks in all the class tests which you have appeared and the pre-boards to understand the level of improvement you need to make in each subject. every each subject needs to be given equal importance.
  • Equal focus on all the subjects- Don’t only focus on Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Accounts, etc. because these are the tough subjects. The weak students should spend extra hours focusing on all the subjects including the language papers so that they can get decent marks in all of the papers.
  • Study what is within the syllabus-Sometimes some topics seem to be so interesting in some subjects that the candidate starts paying attention much more than is required on that topic from the exam point of view. As a result of which, later his/ her revision remains incomplete. So this should be strictly ignored. The candidate should study only how much it is required to study a topic as per syllabus and not beyond that.
  • Previous year question papers: the key to success-Try to solve at least the previous 11 years’ question papers in the form of mock tests. This will help the candidate not only in the revision of the concepts that the candidates studied but also in understanding the difficulty level and preparing those concepts better. Even sometimes going through the sample papers and having a look at the questions asked and assess mentally whether you know the concepts or not and how to answer them. Solving question papers is the basic step for understanding one’s assessment in the exam. And also the quality of one’s preparation. So it is good to start solving the question papers as soon as possible. After the candidates solves all the questions of the previous question papers correctly, then it is confirmed that he will succeed.
