5 tips for understanding & committing to memory Physics formulas...

Physics is a subject that is loaded with formulas, so the students must cram the formulas well and acquire a good score in Class 10 Physics. Most students fear physics, the concepts are very hard to understand and the numerical problems tough to solve. But if the students have a good command over the formulas, then any complicated questions can be solved easily. So below are ways in which the physics formulas can be retained better. And then the problems get solved accordingly.
Following tips will help in memorizing your Physics formulas in a better way:
Focus should be fixed: The terms, formulas for Physics require deep focus so that those get absorbed into the mind. So the student should develop a good concentration level so that all the complicated or in other words the lengthy formulas get glued up in mind.
  • Calm your mind: Physics problems are not that easy that it can be learned under stress. The formulas are very tough to learn under stress because a stressed brain loses the ability to work effectively and cannot perform complex tasks. So first make your mind calm. By doing this, concentration on the task will be more.
  • Practice again and again:The more one practices using the formulas, the more they are to remember. So to make your study much more interesting, write down all important formulas on a sheet and once every single day practice physics with this formula. Then after 15 days try to solve the problem with the formula without looking at it.
  • Understand the basic concept of the formula: Basic concept should be cleared before moving ahead with the formulas. This, in turn, will help in understanding the formula well.
  • Stay aside from all distractions: The student must deviate from mobile Phones, televisions and all other electronic devices. Also, physical issues like lethargy, depression, hunger, tensions, thirst should be ignored completely.
  • Read the derivation of every formula: To understand the formulas better, it is very important to understand the derivation of every formula. Derivation of formula helps you understand the roots and concepts of that formula which helps in retaining for a long time in the brain. Moreover, when you derive a formula, you understand it fully from its roots. That way you can memorize just the bare minimum number of formulae that you need to derive the rest from.
  • Play formula games with friends: Let your friends randomly pick up a formula for you. Then you describe it. You can also play with yourself. Just close your eyes and place your finger on a random topic in the Physics book then try to come up with all the formulas related to it.
  • Frame a story:Try to create a story that involves everything you are trying to learn. The sequence of a story will help you to retain things in a particular order.
Therefore, practice every day to master over physics formulas
