5 Tips to remove the fear of board exams to...

As board examinations come close by every passing month, students get more and more and more anxious about the same. Every student goes through this to a certain degree and it is pretty normal for students to go through it. However, you should not give in to the fear of the boards and keep your calm.
  1. Make strategies to utilize your time
For a student who is about to appear in a board examination, you should think about utilizing time rather than the time that has already passed. This would help you develop a positive mindset. Just remember, thinking about what has already passed is useless but making the best out of what is left is very useful. What you should keep in mind is that you need to make most of the time that is left and score the best you can and not think about the perils of failure.
  1. Start preparation early on
You should start your preparation as soon as possible and do not pass time when the boards actually start. If you’re prepared, you won’t have anything to worry about but make sure to revise your course from time to time. Beginning of the session is the best option to start your preparation but even after that, you can aim to score better by maintaining your mental balance and utilizing your time to the fullest.
  1. Refrain from cross-checking your friends
The most common mistake that a student commits is inquiring their friends about their progress. This puts an unwarranted mental pressure on a student as it creates a sense of competition with the friend or friends which takes a toll on a student’s wellbeing and eventually making it difficult for the student to prepare for their boards and catch up with their set goals.
  1. Have a positive mindset
Even if you did not study for the whole session or you did not study well for the whole year. Well, don’t let that take over you and always think that you can prepare well even in a lot less time. Cross-checking gives rise to a feeling of being left behind and being way behind everybody else. However, how much strong this feeling may get, using this stress for your advantage will help you actually score in your board examinations and make the best of the time you have in your hand.
  1. Do not assume failure
Refrain from thinking about failure too much and do not lose your delicate mental balance. Keep your studies on track by checking yourself constantly and catching up with your goals from time to time. Also, check on the amount of course that you find difficult and check its weightage in the board paper. If the topic doesn’t come for a lot of marks then it would be best to not to worry about it too much but be sure to be thorough with everything else. Convince yourself that you are going to give your best in the boards. No matter the results or circumstances, what matters is now and you will make the best of it.
