How to prepare for Maths & Science CBSE class 12...

For a PCM/PCB class 12th student, Maths and Science subjects are one of their worst nightmares. Students find themselves lost in the seemingly infinite number of formulas and reactions. As class 12th sets the foundation for your career, that is why a student needs to score well in the same. Given below are some tips which can help you in preparing for class 12th Science and Maths:

  1. Students mostly lack clarity in Physics and are unable to realize the simple fact that Physics is not as hard as it seems. Clarification of concepts is very important and it makes the subject considerably easy to understand. Make sure to know reasons behind every happening while solving numericals and practice answering conceptual questions as CBSE tends to give such questions in the final paper.
  2. Devote more time to Physics as it is pretty difficult when compared to other subjects as it is a very wide subject with a lot of topics.
  1. Refer to other guides other than your NCERT books as they will help you to understand the reasons behind every reaction of organic chemistry. As the consensus stays, people find organic chemistry most difficult but referring to other books will make it considerably easier and enhance the understanding of the concepts. Do not forget to take help from your teachers.

  3. Skim through last years’ question papers as important questions in Biology tend to repeat from time to time. It may even contain some odd question which would enhance your understanding of the final paper.

  2. Practice all the problems and questions, then only they will stay in your mind for a longer time.
  3. Solve sample papers and question banks to have a better understanding of the type of questions that come in the examination. It will also help you to enhance your understanding of various concepts and applying formulas.
  4. Develop an understanding of the demarcation of marks in the various section of the board paper. Have an understanding of how much time you are going to dedicate in the final paper.
  5. Practice maths daily as it will deepen your understanding of concepts and help in memorizing the formulas.
  6. Try solving the whole NCERT book as most of the questions come from the book itself. Do not forget any of the exercises given in the book.
