It is the wish of every student to score good marks in their exams. Scoring good marks means you are an intelligent person. Our education system is in such a way that good marks have become the synonym of intelligent. But sometimes an intelligent student scores less marks than the other. It doesn’t mean s/he is not genius anymore. There are many cases where poor student gets more marks than an intelligent candidate.
Beside all these probabilities, it is the mindset of people that genius is one who score good marks always. If we define genius as intelligent then it might be possible to answer the title of this article as yes. But genius mean a person who is skilled in every field and perfect in all sense. Getting good marks mean you are intelligent not genius.
Board exams are said to be the bricks to build a successful future. It is the dream of every student to get good marks either s/he is the student of CBSE class 10th or CBSE class 12th(PCM) or CBSE class 12th(PCB) or the examinee of any board. But scoring less than their dream marks doesn’t mean they are failure. There are many examples of successful people who were once an average student or even a dropout of their colleges. Famous personalities like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Mukesh Ambani etc were average students in their schooling time. But now these people doesn’t need any introduction. Today’s genius could be an average student in their school or college which clearly indicate that good marks are not always the sign of genius.
