CBSE Class 12 analysis of Math syllabus and important sections

The CBSE Class 12 Math question paper is hard to predict. Some year questions become easy while other years faced with difficult. The marking scheme and distribution of marks for Mathematics are presented below:
The Relations and Functions unit will consist of 10 marks. Algebra will consist of 13 marks, Calculus will consist of 44 marks. Probability will consist of 10 marks. Linear programming will consists of 6 marks. Vector and 3-dimensional geometry will consists of 17 marks. And the total will be of 10 marks.
The question paper design for CBSE Math will consists of the following portions as shown below:
Remembering Questions
Very Short Answers which is of 1 mark
Short Answer which is of 2 marks
Long Answer- 1 which is of 4 marks
Long Answer -2 which is of 6 marks
So Very Short Answer will have 2 questions carrying 1 mark each. Short Answers will have 2 questions carrying 2 marks each. Long answers-1 will have 2 questions carrying 4 marks each. Long answers-2 will have 1 question carrying 6 marks each. So the total will be of 20 marks.

Understanding(Comprehend the information carefully along with the meaning, compare, paraphrase, information, contrast)
Very Short Answer – which is of 1 mark
Short Answer- which is of 2 marks
Long Answer(1)-which is of 4 marks
Long Answer(2) – which is of 6 marks
So Very Short Answer will have 1 question of 1 mark only. Short Answer will have 3 questions carrying 2 marks each. Long Answer(1) will have 4 questions carrying 4 marks each. Long Answer(2) will have 2 questions carrying 6 marks each. Therefore, the total marks is 35.

Application(Use the abstract information in a concrete situation)
Very Short Answer-1mark
Short Answer-2 marks
Long Answer(1)-4 marks
Long Answer(2)-6 marks
So Very Short Answer will have 1 question of 1 mark. There will be no questions on Answer Short. 3 Long Answer(1) questions will be given carrying 4 marks each. 2 Long Answer(2) questions will be given carrying 6 marks each.  The total marks will be 25.

High Order Thinking Skills(Analysis& Synthesis-Classify, Compare, Contrast or differentiate between pieces of information, organize or integrate unique pieces of information from a variety of sources)
Very Short Answer- 0 mark
Short Answer-2 marks
Long Answer(1)-4 marks
Long Answer(2)-0 marks
In this section, there will be no Very Short Answer questions and no Long Answer questions. There will be 3 Short Answer questions consisting of 2 marks each. There will be 1 question from long answer(1) carrying 4 marks.

Evaluation(Appraise, Judge, And/ Or Justify the value or worth of a decision or outcome, or to predict outcomes based on values)
Very Short Answer-0 mark
Short Answer-0 marks
Long Answer(1)- 4 marks
Long Answer(2)- 6 marks
From this section, no Very Short Answer question and Short Answer questions will be asked. There will be one question asked from the Long Answer(1) pattern consisting of 4 marks and one question asked from the Long Answer(2) pattern consisting of 6 marks.
