Tips to prepare NEET 2020 exam along with CBSE Class...

Preparation for boards and the entrance exam is a constant juggle for class 12 students. The pressure to perform well in both can become too much, especially when you are preparing for national-level exams like National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.

Since NEET is the only entrance exam for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in the country, the competition is extremely high. Around 12 to 13 lakh students are expected to fill the NEET 2020 application form in December. To crack NEET 2020 and also score well in the class 12 exam, students need dedication and a good preparation strategy.

To start with, understand the timeline. Class 12 exams for most of the boards will begin in February and conclude by April 2020. NEET is due to be held on May 3, 2020. Hence, students only have around four months to prepare. For those who are on point with preparation, this is the time to start revision. What is a good percentage to get into good colleges...

The importance of CBSE Class 12th board result is highly debatable. While some colleges in India hold CBSE Class 12th result with very high regard, and some don’t even consider it and hold their respective selection exams. Even people have a different opinion about the importance of CBSE Class 12th percentage on a student’s life, career and their potential. The most important question students ask themselves regarding Class 12th CBSE board exams is:

• What is a good percentage to get into good colleges after CBSE class 12 exams?

Well, there is not a very specific answer to that. Many people would suggest that 90%+ is a good percentage but for some colleges of Delhi University. Even that is not enough.

A “good” percentage would be the one which gets you to your dream college. It ultimately depends upon your choice of career and the college you want to get into. For some people, CBSE Class 12th Board percentage decides what do they want to do in their lives. Good Class 12th percentage may even dictate an early successful professional career.

• What about college?

To get into a prestigious college, one might need a good percentage in Class 12th CBSE. To get into colleges like Delhi University, Class 12th percentage matter a lot. More than what a student might think it does. Getting into a top-notch Indian college requires a good amount of hard work as the student needs to score really good marks in their CBSE Class 12th board examinations.

Is Delhi University really out of question for a student who scores less than 90%?

Contrary to the popular belief, Delhi University is not at all out of question for a student who scores below 90%. Though high cut-offs are especially scary, Delhi University does have a lot of options for people with lower percentages. One can easily select the colleges and courses that they want to.

• For scores between 40% and 60%

Well, as people might say these students will be of “no good” but the reality is far from it. Like any other Delhi University College, School of Open Learning offers courses in many disciplines such as Commerce, Political Science, English and many more BA and B.Com courses. The student will be awarded Delhi University degrees in three years.

• For scores 60% and 75%

Horizons do get a bit broad but the quality of college would still not be up to the mark. People falling into this category should look into the colleges which require entrance tests and prepare for the same such as management studies, mass communication, journalism, elementary education and foreign languages. A student should also consider going to a private college if they can afford one. There are several excellent private universities in India such as Ashoka University, O. P. Jindal University etc.

• For scores 75% and 90%

A student falling into this category should be realistic about their options and choose wisely accordingly. Cut-offs for various courses do tend to stay above 90%, do watch out for subsequent lists. Also, again applying to private universities is not such a bad idea if you can afford one.

• For 90% and above

Most of the colleges which admit students based on CBSE Class 12th board percentage tend to accept students who have their percentages over 90%. They have a good chance of getting into a good college and those above 95% should not worry much about the cut-offs. Also, make sure to choose the right course for you as it is very crucial.

Study Plan For CBSE Class 12

It is more often heard that score 90% and above is not easy in CBSE board exams.  But there are certain tips with the help of which a candidate can score more than 90% easily. They are as follows:-

• July: During this month,students of CBSE Class 12 must cram their new CBSE syllabus and the portion which will be asked in their coming CBSE Class 12 internal exams. NCERT textbooks and NCERT Solutions as these are most important for CBSE Class 12 Board exams.
• August:In Physics, most schools first cover chapters like Electrostatic, Current Electricity, Ray optics and Wave optics as total marks of these chapters in the CBSE Class 12 Board exam are of 32 marks (out of 70). Students are advised to finish these chapters and start solving Unit wise CBSE Class 12 Physics practice papers. Similarly, in Chemistry, one must first finish chapters of Physical Chemistry i.e. Solid State, Solutions, Electro chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, etc and start solving CBSE practice papers. In the same way, one must cover algebra and calculus first in mathematics and so on. One can also try an online test to check their preparation level.
• September:In Class 12 chapters (especially physics, chemistry, and mathematics) are connected. If one will miss a chapter then he or she may not be able to understand concepts given in the next chapter or topics. So, a student needs extra effort and hard work to match the pace.
• October: During these 10 – 12 holidays this month, one can study in the morning and enjoy the evening. Besides enjoying one can also study the chapters by doing group study, taking extra classes. More than half of the syllabus must be covered by the students. Students can also start revising topics with a good question bank.
• November: During this month,students need to study new topics and revise already studied chapters. One needs to stay focus on studies and understand concepts without getting tired.
• December: Students of CBSE Class 12 should take the pre-board exam seriously. Although, the marks of these exams are not added to the final grade sheet one must attempt these exams with an honest effort.
• January:Now, it’s time to practice as much as possible. You can’t score well until and unless you will go through CBSE Class 12 practice papers based on the latest examination pattern. Solving previous year CBSE Class 12 papers (at least 5 to 10 years) is the key to score above 95% in CBSE board examinations.
• February: One should reserve this month for revision purposes only. One must not study anything new this month as the student may get stuck in any new topic during the last moment as it may add more confusion and results in wastage of precious time. One should revise NCERT textbooks and avoid wasting time on social sites.

Educating Special Needs Students

Education is very important for all of us. It is the root which help you to grow the tree of success. It us an asset which can change the life and situation of every human being. It helps us to lead a good life. There is a famous quote that ‘If we born as a poor man, it is not our fault. But if we die being a poor it is our fault’. We all have a power to change our life and education is a tool which can change life. It is the right of every child to study. Our Constitution also give us the “Right to Education Act (RTE)” which describe the importance of education. The Act 21 A states and give free and compulsory education for children whose age is between 6 to 14.
Education is important for every student so as to special needs students. They need more love and care than the normal child. Educating special needs students is difficult because they cannot match the level of normal students. But thus, doesn’t mean that education is not important for them. It is important to educate the special needs children so that they can lead a simple life.
Every child is different. Some catch things which are taught to them very easily while some cannot. And when it come to special needs students every teacher should keep this in mind that they are the one who can test their patience. Teaching these students is not that easy. They may go crazy at any time. But it should be the responsibility of every teacher to give them proper knowledge and also handling them with love and care.
There are more than 3000 schools which are built only for special needs students and are successfully running with the help of organisations. Out of them 900 schools are especially for hearing impaired, 400 schools are for those students who are visually impaired, 1000 schools are for mentally retarded students and 700 schools are for physically disable students. Earlier educating special needs students was not in trend but now the scenario is different. There are many schools which are next to gift of god for these students and their families. Most of these schools are situated in Urban areas. These schools are totally different from normal schools. They need extra care and support. They should be handled with delicacy.
Children with disabilities are neglected and looked down in the society. But to educate them is their right. There are certain rules and measures which should be follow in order to give them proper environment:
Class sizes should be smaller than the normal classroom so that each student is given proper attention. This allows the student to understand and reciprocate well.
Teachers should teach every single topic calmly and patiently and should never become agitated.
Unique tools should be used to teach these students. Teachers should become innovative and find the ways which could attract their student’s attention. If one tool doesn’t work, they should go for another idea to teach them always.
Frustration should never touch the educator of a special needs’ students. They should learn the concept of tolerance by heart and should follow it every single moment. Because it is obvious that sometimes they can feel frustrated and annoyed. But the reaction of their frustration can frighten those children, and this can turned out to be as a negative impact on their health or some student can become violent.
